There was quite a bit of controversy raised a couple of years ago when a study on mice found excercise had negative effect on short-term memory in mice.
The researchers at the time said this warranted further research, which they have carried out, this time on rats.
It turns out their initial research didn’t pan out the same way. In fact, it found short term memory was enhanced.
This is a good example of why early research should be read carefully and understood to represent the beginning of a journey and not a destination.
