I recently purchased two pieces of apparel from Adidas – a long-sleeve shirt and a short sleeve short. Both are from their TechFit range of gear. However, the long sleeved shirt is a size large and the short sleeves are a size small.
In a recent Facebook post, “Missy Rogers” shared a photo of two pairs of shorts when purchased, two years apart from American Eagle Outfitters. Incredibly, what was a size 4 in 2014 is now a size 10.
Relying on the sizing information from clothing manufacturers is a recipe for frustration and a potential trigger for anyone who faces challenges dealing with their body image.
